REALBUG Collectible Figurines PWC423 Editorial Review
The REALBUG Spider Collection is a great addition to any science unit or lesson on arthropods, insects, or biology. This 2-piece set allows children to see real spiders up close and personal, without the worry of delicate specimens or being too rough with them. The spiders are encased in lucite, allowing for viewing from all angles and providing a clear visual of the spiders' body parts. Customers have praised the REALBUG Spider Collection for its educational value and durability. One reviewer mentioned using these specimens to introduce spiders to their class, and the children were excited to see real spider specimens in person. The hands-on experience and close-up visuals were highly appreciated in teaching the children about spiders. Another reviewer mentioned using the spiders with young students and found that they were not afraid or grossed out by the specimens. The spiders were drop-proof, as one of the reviewers' kids accidentally dropped them from a height of 2-3 feet without any damage. The size of the spiders was also mentioned as being large enough to see detail, particularly with the spiny orb weaver species. The REALBUG Spider Collection was also a hit when used for show and tell. One reviewer shared that their grandson was very excited to show off his new spiders at school. In terms of quality, customers found the acrylic casing to be unscratched and the price to be average. Overall, the REALBUG Spider Collection is highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their science units or teach children about spiders. It provides an engaging and educational experience, while also being durable and visually appealing.
