Fikir ve sanat eserleri bölümünde 5846 sayılı Fikir ve Sanat Eserleri Kanunu sistematiği kapsamında; eserin tanıtımı, eser sahipliği, eser sahibinin hakları, hakların kapsamı ve sınırları, bağlantılı haklar ve ihlaller halinde başvurulacak yaptırımlar yalın bir dille anlatılmıştır. Kitabın ikinci bölümde Sınai mülkiyet hukukuna ilişkin 6769 sayılı Sınai Mülkiyet Kanunu sistematiği kapsamında şematik olarak incelenmiş, marka, coğrafi işaret, tasarım, patent ve faydalı modellere ilişkin koruma, tescil süreçleri, ihlaller ve yaptırımlar, hakların sona erme şekilleri hususunda özlü anlatımlar yapılmıştır.
