The Digitech DOD-GONKULATOR EQ Effects Pedal has a robotic sci-fi effect that one person found enjoyable while another felt it was nothing special. The pedal has a drive circuit and a ring modulator that allows for unique tones and dissonant lines. The blue LED was disliked by one person, but it was not a major issue as it could be easily replaced. Someone compared this pedal to the amazing boutique pedals available today and felt it was not special as the distortion circuit was not thought to be trebly or fuzz-like. However, they did appreciate the ability to dial in the Ring Mod mix for more musical effects. Another person liked the weird sounds that the pedal could produce and found moving the tuner for the ringmod to the front made the pedal solid gold. DOD's new reissues were deemed amazing.
