Nutritionist's Take
Aromatics International Organic Marula Oil is a cold-pressed oil known for its lightweight and silky texture, making it a popular choice in both skincare and culinary applications. Nutritionally, marula oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins E and C, which can support skin hydration and barrier function. While it can be beneficial for those with dry or aging skin, the oil is high in calories, which may be a consideration for those on calorie-restricted diets. Importantly, consumers should note its ethical sourcing claims, enhancing its appeal to those focused on sustainable ingredients. However, individuals with nut allergies should exercise caution since marula oil is derived from the nuts of the marula tree. Overall, marula oil is a healthy choice for many, promoting skin health and providing beneficial nutrients when used appropriately.
