The Ring Alarm Keypad 2nd Gen is a great addition to any existing or new Ring Alarm security system. The only downside is that the sounds made when arming and disarming will not be in sync and the mode lights go dark after a few seconds. However, there is an option to keep the active mode button lit so you can see the mode at a glance. One great feature of this keypad is that the alarm tone is played from every camera device, the base station, and linked keypads, ensuring that everyone in the home can hear and respond to the alarm. It is important to note that without a professional subscription, the emergency buttons will only set off an alarm with no dispatch of emergency services.
