ProMaster Booms & Stands LS1 Editorial Review

The ProMaster LS1N Basic Light Stand, model 9245, has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a balance between affordability and performance. Most users praise the stand for its sturdiness and satisfactory functionality, particularly for the price point of around $20. Many appreciate its lightweight design, which makes it easy to handle, yet robust enough for basic lighting needs. Several customers report that the smooth operation and reliable performance of the stand met or exceeded their expectations for a budget option, leading to recommendations for others Considering a basic light stand. However, some users have encountered durability issues; specifically, loose screws became a recurring problem for one customer who ultimately chose to purchase a replacement rather than deal with ongoing maintenance. Despite the durability concerns, others note that the uncomplicated Construction can be adjusted easily, and the wobbly nature at a full six feet height is manageable, especially when additional support like sandbags is used. In summary, the ProMaster LS1N Basic Light Stand serves as a suitable entry-level solution for those needing to stabilize lighting equipment affordably, though potential buyers should be aware of possible longevity issues. **
