Twisted Tale: As Old as Time is a wonderful retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast story. The author's writing style is easy to follow, making it a quick and enjoyable read. The story starts out similarly to the beloved Disney movie, but takes a unique turn towards the end. The addition of new characters and fleshing out of backstories add depth and complexity to the tale. Although there were some minor issues with undefined characters and time changes in the first part of the book, it becomes easier to follow in the second part. Overall, this book is a great addition to the "twisted tales" series and one that fans of the original story will definitely enjoy.
