PREPWORKS Graters HG-88 Editorial Review

The Prepworks by Progressive Folding Mandolin has garnered a diverse range of feedback from users who appreciate its compact design, ease of use, and a selection of cutting functions. Customers have found the mandolin especially helpful for slicing various vegetables, including zucchini and onions. The cleverly designed container that captures the slices and measurements adds a layer of convenience that many users enjoy. However, there are notable drawbacks; primarily, the mandolin offers limited slicing thickness options, which has left some users wishing for finer settings. The hand guard, while a vital feature for safety, has come under scrutiny for its inadequate grip on certain foods, leading to issues when grating softer items like cheese or smaller vegetables. Despite these concerns, most users agree on the device's sharpness and robust Construction, with some emphasizing the importance of using the protective hand guard to prevent injuries. The overall sentiment leans towards satisfaction, with users appreciating the functionality relative to the price. While the product is not without its flaws, many reviews reflect a general Consensus that the Prepworks Folding Mandolin is a worthy addition to kitchen tools for those with limited space and a need for straightforward slicing solutions. **
